Recharge your batteries

Feeling ready for a little break from your busy routine? This week I dial-it-down to recharge my batteries. Here are a few ways I am doing that:

I rest. I take a week off from my exercise routine.

I still stay active. I still eat well. The recovery for my body and mind is hugely beneficial. I come back to my small but mighty garage gym ready to rock it.

I reflect. What skills do I practice that make me feel awesome? Is there anything I want to change? What can I practice that will connect me to that change?

I plan. I lock in dates for the rest of the year: annual physical, dentists, sports, shows and time off.

Consider taking time off to recharge your batteries. It’s a wonderful and special time of year to do that for yourself.
